Hey guys, in our brief meeting with @thibaudcloud, he explained a bit on how the blog post grades work. So when you put your write ups on hemingwayapp.com, the lower the grade, the better your blog post gets. The screenshot👆🏽will provide better context. Also, make sure to follow the instructions as laid e.g Have your word limit as instructed |

Hi guys, asking this for clarity, for our first blog post which is supposed to be about sharing something we have learned recently. Is it okay to write something completely not about tech, or does the topic have to circle back to tech or/and accessibility? |

Hello everyone, i need help 😢 As suggested by @waju-ire to talk about issues we might face out of the project here, i am seeking help on few issues related to git. Being called a community, i believe i can ask for help here, i am trying to create a new branch and file in there for the task we were being provided of adding README.md file in 2023 file, but i am not able to commit the changes as i am always prompted by an error: 'File couldn't be edited'. I am new to git and github hence, went through few blunders already and don't wanna waste any more time so it would be really kind if i get some guidance as i really wanna start contributing to the main issues. |

Greetings everyone 👋 Writing and Editing Tips for Blog Posts with Hemingway EditorStart Writing First: Begin by writing your blog post without worrying about grammar and style. Get your ideas on paper first. Use Hemingway Editor: Copy and paste your written content into Hemingway Editor, including sections or the entire post. Check Readability: Pay attention to the suggested readability level in Hemingway. Aim for a level that suits your audience. Lower levels are often better for online content. Avoid Adverbs and Passive Voice: Hemingway Editor points out adverbs and passive voice. Review and consider replacing them with stronger verbs. Simplify Complex Sentences: Complex sentences can be hard to read. Break them into shorter, more understandable sentences when possible. Use Clear and Simple Language: Hemingway Editor highlights complex words and phrases. Simplify your language for better reader understanding. Mind Sentence Length: Hemingway Editor identifies overly long sentences. Shorter sentences are usually easier to read and understand. Vary Word Usage: Hemingway Editor spots repeated words. Diversify your word choice to make your writing more engaging. Organize Paragraphs: Follow Hemingway's suggestions to improve paragraph structure, ensuring each one has a clear focus. Check Readability Issues: Hemingway Editor marks sentences with readability problems. Review and rewrite them for clarity. Maintain Natural Flow: While following Hemingway's advice is crucial, keep your writing natural. Avoid making it sound robotic. Review After Edits: After making recommended edits, reread your blog post to ensure it still conveys your intended message and tone. Grammar and Spelling: Hemingway Editor focuses on style and readability, so use a separate grammar and spell-check tool or proofread manually for errors. Practice Consistently: Regularly using Hemingway Editor helps you develop good writing habits, making your blog posts more readable and engaging.
