Original email from Christal:
Also, when faculty complete the support staff selection, they do not see application information. This is only visible under the Staff Support Assignments by Support Staff. I think we need to make the review of application information more transparent.

Follow up from Christal:
Yes, the instructors should be able to view the preference comments (at least) when viewing the student names. I am currently requiring only preference comments so that students are required to comment for each selection as to their suitability. I’m not sure if this should be expanded text when you hover over the name or a completely different way to indicate preference. In general, I think whomever is indicating preference, making selections, should be able to see the whole application as it applies to each course. Also, the list of possibilities is not sorted in any obvious way (is it by order of submission?). Could it be sorted by preference number and then alphabetically (same for those that didn’t apply)?

Currently instructors see a 'preferred' list in their dropdown of any graduate students who indicated a preference for their course and the weighting the graduate student gave it. I've emailed Christal to see what additional information instructors would find useful.
