This template should be used (edited) the month prior and during the meeting. This will ensure we can address all topics added throughout the month; as well as provide minutes and follow up after the meeting is held.

PyLadies Global Meeting

Agenda

Please add items as needed. If you add a topic please make sure to attend the meeting.

New Business

  • [ASYNC] Anything we need to do for PyCon? a question for Phyllis
  • PyLadies website update
    • AI for GC to do this week:
      • give general feedback
      • respond to Smera's comments for input
  • Discussion board update
    • AI for @econchick: find moderators
    • good for long-post Slack posts, or for folks' ideas
    • AI for @MmeMarieLouise promote on social media + slack (once we find moderators)
    • AI for @BethanyG and @econchick good idea to add it to the kit (and the website via blog post?)
    • @trallard to make a post about website overhaul update
  • Ask: Review nominations for Outstanding PyLady Award by next meeting
  • GitHub audit complete
    • AI: GC to review spreadsheet and add comments/ideas by next meeting

Old Business: Follow up items from prior meeting:

  • How can brand new & revived chapters get meetup support if they have to prove they have had the required number of events? - @econchick
    • Example re: Edinburgh (slack)
    • I started taking it over but the pyladies wont pay to reinstate unless i have a few meetups first but meetup makes me pay in order to reinstate

  • Update posted CoC to PSF's version - Phyllis Dobbs via @econchick
