ca_file should accept an array for certificate chains.

ca_file should be a valid filesystem path, This needs to be an array accepting paths to multiple files where necessary for certificate chains.

In other software you can just put the whole cert chain in one file. Does this not work in this case?

i can confirm that providing a certificate chain PEM file does work. would be nice if this was documented even if its a standard option as the other Elastic products allow you to provide a list of individual certificates which allows you to omit a chain.
