Version

0.14.2

Operating System

macOS

Distribution Method

dmg (Apple Silicon)

Describe the issue

When I try to edit a custom prompt (commit or branch), the change does not get persisted. The text input shows the modified prompt until you navigate away from and then back to the settings screen.

I found the aiCommitPrompts and aiBranchPrompts keys in localStorage and the default text is still there. If I manually modify the prompt text in localStorage it seems to stick, so I assume the settings UI is failing to completely save the update.

How to reproduce

  1. Create and edit a custom prompt
  2. Navigate to the Workspace
  3. Navigate back to the custom prompt and observe that it has reverted to the default
