Notes from Onvier

HTTP is strongly recommended. Other protocols should be used only if the device does not support RTSP over HTTP. The lossy protocol UDP should be used as the last resort. Onvier uses port 80 for HTTP, and port 554 for UDP and TCP by default, but accepts any other ports informed by the device in the retrieved streaming URL. The mapping between the selections and ONVIF terms: HTTP - RTP/RTSP/HTTP/TCP, TCP - RTP/RTSP/TCP, UDP - RTP data transfer via UDP.
